I gave 4 stars. However, this is probably my fault. This was my first shave with a GEM micromatic. I got a VERY close shave! However, four or five weepers. The angle on the razor is different than a DE. Then my alum block, lit up my world. I think I need more GEM practice.
My 1st review was regarding what a great shave I received from Personna GEM blades (10 pack). Razors Direct did so well on my 1st that I turned around and ordered 5 more 10 packs. For service, price, quality of products and free shipping, I don't know of anyone that can beat Razors Direct.
I bought these blades for a 1912 GEM Razor. I was tired of the same old crap out of China, so I had to try something else. I'm not a multi-blade razor fan and i knew a single sharp blade was the best. Here I am in my 60s and the last shave that I had that was this close and comfortable was by a Barber with a straight edge razor. Quality, precision blades made in the U.S.A.
