I bought this to replace an old metal type atra handle. I do like it now, but took a little to get used to. It is heavier than old one that came with blades so you get a good shave. It is slippery, especially when wet, dry it before using. Don't start with a new blade like I did, cut myself badly first time because slippery and sharp don't go together. Plan to buy a second one, love atra blades.
Very heavy handle which makes the shave feel closer! Very well made razor handle!
